On the road again

This is our last day here at Ocean Lakes. AMEN!!! The first 3 weeks were great, but during the last week the place has filled up to the point where you can't move. These are not your so called 'normal' RVers. This are what we refer to as 'weekend warriors'. They pull in with their rigs (usually a trailer) and proceed to setup. Out comes the bikes, tables, chairs, cases of beer, cases of pop, cases of whatever, bins upon bins of 'stuff' to the point where it starts to look like a junk yard. It is truly terrible. You don't even want to pull up your blinds in the morning. These people stay for a few days, then the RV goes back into their driveway until the next long weekend. I will never, repeat never stay at this park again. Not there is anything wrong with it, they keep it up very well, it's just too damn big. And golf carts, don't even talk about golf carts. Ken has a hard time walking the dogs for fear of them getting run over.

Anyhow, enough ranting. We spend yesterday and today getting all our 'stuff', cleaned and packed up in the 'basement' of the MH. To day I washed the front windshield inside and outside. Now that's a job. But you need to be able to see driving down the road. We are now all packed up and ready to hit the road tomorrow morning.

We went out tonight for supper at the Olive Garden. I'll have to wait until next year to eat there again. It was very good.

I think Maggie is ready to go home. She is terribly cranky with Jackson. She's had enough and wants her own bed. Even though I fixed up a great bed here for her with memory foam mattress and a big quilt. There really is no place like home and I know they both will be happy to get home. Us too. When you know it's time to go home then your mind says let's just get there.

Tomorrow's destination is Virginia. I think they have WiFi but not sure.

So until whenever I can..take care.
